Ruth MacDonald is currently the Human Resources Manager at InnovaSea Marine Systems Canada. Based in Bedford, NS, Ruth provides support to realtime aquaculture and Vemco divisions. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts at Wilfrid Laurier University and her Certificate in Professionalism for the HR Practitioner from Saint Mary’s as well as her Strategic Human Resource Management Certificate from University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management Executive Programs. Ruth has focused her career- combined 20+ years of HR and Management experience within the fields of manufacturing, multi-unit big box and corporate retail. Brandi Babando, RPR - Maritimes Regional Co-Chair

Brandi Babando is currently a Senior Specialist, Human Resources for Bell in Atlantic Canada. Based in Bedford, NS, Brandi provides support to her client group in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick. Brandi returned to school in her 20’s to earn her Certificate in Human Resource Management from Saint Mary’s University in order to focus her career to date on HR and operations management. Brandi completed the Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) program in 2004 through IPM and also holds the CPHR designation.


Jaime Moore, RPT - Ottawa Regional Director

Brianne Carlson is the Grievance Officer at the Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa. Working in the field of labour relations, Brianne provides bargaining unit members with expert advice on all matters under a Collective Agreement including grievances, accommodation requirements, complaint processes and conditions of work. Having worked in both the private and public sectors, Brianne has extensive experience in a number of areas within human resources including recruitment and selection, job classification and evaluation, employee relations and organizational governance and policy development. Brianne holds a B.A. in French and Spanish from Dalhousie University, a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Algonquin College and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Labour Relations. Brianne also holds her Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation and Registered Assessment Specialist (RAS) designation through IPM.

Lynia Vincent is an independent HR Consultant with over 25 years of diverse HR experience. Her passion is conducting workplace investigations. Lynia effectively helps clients work through many complex workplace issues. She has experience conducting investigations into allegations of harassment and workplace violence, code of conduct violations, bullying, poisoned work environments and other problematic workplace behaviour. Lynia holds the RPR (Registered Professional Recruiter) designation as well as the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). Kristin Krause Reed is the Canadian Recruitment Specialist for Suez Water Technologies and Solutions. In her role, Kristin supports all recruitment for the Canada Region, using her industry expertise and strong network to help Suez recruit top talent. Reeshma Jassani is currently the Director of Human Resources/Labour Relations working for CN Rail.
